FAQ

Q: HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHO'S ON THE PODCAST?

A: At the moment, I have chosen guests based on artists I know or am aware of through my existing social and personal networks; primarily based in, or originally from Toronto. However, as the podcast grows in scope, I hope to be able to bring in guests who the MTM community feel would benefit the audience.

Q: HOW CAN I RECOMMEND SOMEONE TO BE ON THE PODCAST?

A: Become a Patron! Go to the MTM Patreon page to support the podcast and you'll get access to rewards like recommending guests for the podcast, questions you'd like me to ask on the podcast, exclusive content, MTM swag and contest rewards.

Q: what makes you qualified to talk about art & creativity?

A: Nothing! Well, almost nothing I guess. I've been in arts education since I was 10 years old. I have never had a formal post-secondary arts education but that's part of why I'm doing this. How can anybody engage in discussions about any topic if they automatically feel excluded? I think the big "ART" world is vastly exclusionary, but I would like to remove some of those barriers for the average creative. I'd also like to educate myself by speaking with these different artists. I actually do have a degree in Philosophy, so at the very least I've been speaking, writing and questioning just about everything for a long time. Why not art and creativity?

Q: What's the best way to listen to the podcast?

A: If you're an apple user, the Podcast app, or iTunes is likely best. If you're on a PC or non-Apple product, I'd recommend Google Play Music or Stitcher Radio. If you have other suggestions, I'd love to know!
